It is, they should get a 3rd round comp pick for Bell in 2020 and still enough ammo to move back into the 2nd tomorrow if they want. A no brainer move in the end with what they had in hand.

Ugh, Gary. 2nd best edge on his own college team. Might be a useful DL to shift across the line.. but rumour has it he refused to play DT at Michigan.

I imagine he'll end up splitting snaps in the Packers' 3-4 between DE and OLB. He's not the #1 overall college recruit anymore, won't get away with demanding crap like that until he performs (and gets to his 2nd contract) in the NFL.
