I still think they have a pretty good chance at a late 1st... a few of those teams with old QBs aren't likely to get a chance at a prospect as good as that any time until their franchise guy retires. And the way this draft is shaping up, a late 1st could get one a top tackle (which they desperately need).

Looking ahead... are Denver going to get Lock at 20? Nobody else likely needs a QB (Giants already took Jones lol, Titans have Mariota, Vikings have Cousins) now or in the near future.

Must be. The shoulder didn't hurt Gary much (if at all), but teams take heart things very seriously. Maurice Hurst had something flag up at the combine last year, and even though it was subsequently cleared up he still dropped to the 5th round (!!!!) after being projected as a potential top 10 overall guy pre-combine medical. Raiders got a steal there, because Hurst is a beast.

I mean.. I don't LOVE Sweat.. but he should've gone before Gary at least, and teams usually love that sort of crazy athleticism.
