The Pats May grab Drew Lock here.... they suffered by not having that 5th year option for Jimmy G.... maybe this will do that.

Or maybe TE

Jawaan Talyor still on the boards and not taken in the first round. That's a surprise when you consider some of the OLs already taken in Round 1.

.

Good result for the rams. Their guys all gone and the remaining players around the same grade. May as well move back and get an extra 3rd rounder.

Great for Philly, though Mailata now has a much longer road ahead lol
It's a genuine road block for Mailata which sucks

Honestly, i thought it was going to be Jacobs and getting in front of the texans to do it, but i was really happy with this. Dillard gave up 13 pressures in about 740 pass pro sets in college. He just dominated in pass pro. He needs work as a run blocker but he's a superb pass protecting LT prospect. He was my #1 tackle in the draft and was top 10 on my big board.

Drafts I liked

9ers - Yeah bias, but Bosa baby!

Jets - QW is Bosa's equal but in a different position. No brainer, avoided the urge to outsmart themselves.

Jags - I doubt they expected Allen to fall to them. Sometimes you can get too tricky and stick with your plan A rather than realising the gift in front of you. Jags did the right thing.

Skins - Potentially got there FQB and DE in a single draft. Both hit their ceiling and it's a stellar draft.

Eagles - Needed to protect Wentz into the future and got a guy who can do that.

Drafts I didn't like.

Giants - Redeemed themselves a little after the Baker pick, top player and much needed, but Jones - woof. Not fussed on Lawrence tbh. Solid, but that's about it. With 3 1st rounders you would expect more. Considering I like the Skins draft and the Giants could have had both, that's a double blow.

Falcons - Going OLine I'm fine with, but reaching for Lindstrom and McGary when Taylor and Ford were there....yeah, dunno.

Lions - They love drafting TE's who do nothing. Maybe one day they'll realise the issue is Stafford more than the TE.

Drafts I don't know what to make of.

Raiders - 3 first round picks makes it hard to not like it (Giants lol) but there isn't a sure thing feel to these picks. They could be good, bad or anywhere in between (especially Ferrell and Abram)

Packers - Packers picked two guys who have boom or bust potential (probably nothing inbetween) and they ignored Rodgers side of the ball in the process. Big gamble.

I think that packers draft is trash

I think it has very real potential to be exactly that, but they picked up two very talented athletes. Doesn't always translate to NFL, but there's enough elite traits (In Gary especially) not to completely discount it until they hit the field.

I dont like Gary at all, i've been vocal about that. He's an athlete but doesnt really show up on the field.
Savage im ok with as a player, i like him and think he'll be good but why are they trading up for him? Is he so much better than Gardner-Johnson that you HAVE to get him?

Not to me, i think if you're the packers you should have just sat, waited and you probably get Savage @ 30 anyways. maybe the Raiders take him, but i dont know that they would. And if they did, cool, just roll with it, he's not so good that you trade up for that IMO
Again, good player, just not so good that you have to have him.

Savage came from nowhere in the last week. No idea why or how he just seemed to jump out from the pack and into the first round.

TBH he was probably my 4th fav S.

Yeah i had him 4-5, tough to pick between him and Thompson... To me Gardner-Johnson was my #1, followed by Adderley, and then Abrams
My top 2 are still there

Adderley is my #1. Admittedly he edges out the rest because he's a perfect scheme fit for the 9ers so a bit of personal bias on that one.

Think the 9ers go WR at #36 though and Adderley won't last until the 3rd.
