i've been waiting 2 years for warner to get a chance to face martz and exact his revenge. the rams losing and looking at 0-2 is not good at all but to see martz's face when warner throws all over the rams suspect secondary may be worth the pain. whatever happens this will be a match full of drama and intrigue. only 5 days to go.

i don't think you read all of my post. this is about martz, not the rams.

you must have missed this part.

i am a rams fan but i am not a fan of martz. alot of rams fans were upset about the way warner was treated after the 02 season and felt he didn't get a fair chance to keep hold of the starters job. there is alot of background i don't want to get into but it became apparent that martz is a bit of a loon. apart from that, as a head coach he is the andrew farrar of the nfl.

also, warner will always be a ram to many rams fans and many keep a keen interest in how he is playing. in fact last season fox was forced to make giants games the secondary broadcast in the st louis area, ie-if the giants were playing and the rams weren't fox had to show the giants game. have you ever heard of that happening before? warner's rise to fame was such a feel good story and he is such a classy guy that many have found it hard to let go. you can't help but pull for the guy.

so if warner gets a win against martz i'm not going to be that upset about it.

we will get the chance to see first hand how truly awful the vikings are or see them rebound in a big way. unfortunately this overlaps with nfl primetime and the giants-chargers game so if you want to catch the highlights of your favourite team or see the chargers rough up eli early on you have a bit of a problem.
