best: its melbourne cup day ! the boss gives everyone in the office 20 bucks to put on whichever horse we want, and takes us out to lunch
worst: im f**king tired as and if we do end up going out im not going to be able to get my usual train home

BEST: MrC has done an amazing job of organising my farewell in Sydney. He's managed to reassemble all but two of the original Uni 'cast' - one of whom is in England and one who can't make it. He's got guys traveling from Canberra and Dubbo, and it'll be the first time I've seen some of them since Uni.

WORST: It's a miserable day here and I don't feel like going to work

You know, I really could. Unfortunately though I don't know absolutely everything about everything, so would be an atrocious shop assistant. I don't know what I'd do if someone came in asking questions he knew the answer to in an attempt to expose me just for fun and in order to talk about it on the internets ;-)

Actually there was an proposal to do a PhD down in Sydney - but that would mean moving to Sydney. I don't like Sydney
