Hey lets turn this into a suicide awareness thread as well
You don't need to turn it into that :x

Why not? that swan person did. She was trying to put us all on this guilt trip.. But i have a black heart so it didnt really work.
Why not? becasue I hate talk about suicide, it's a little too close to home for me thanks.

Well dont quote me on suicide, because the swan person was the one who went on about it... Jeese

apart from CH (who is obviously taking the piss) i havent seen one comment directly aimed at you sydney swan, les norton or anyone in particular. in my opinion the "ruthless" attacks are directed at the music industry in general and the show australian idol. don't be so sensitive. its not personal, don't make it look like it is.

having said that...DMC, spot on the money

Mate - trust me when i say I personally took no comments to heart...i'm a tough ol' bird...

Also, If you notice I also said that i am not running out to buy the CD However, I respect peoples choices and i wouldnt mind you guys posting a list of your CD collection...I'm sure that I could find something to poke fun at.... :D

lol, didnt think you would, that post was aimed at sydney swan, who decided to fly off the handle and take our comments as a personal attack.

Don't you reckon that there are too many ppl trying to break into the music industry. Example, was it Megan Gale? who's gonna start singing and Lindsey Lohan from freaky friday's about to release some songs too.
It's getting abit too crowded!!!!

I love alphabetical order :D LOL, I hope I am making sense - am a bit happy after arriving home just then after celebrating a friend's engagement :)

Samwise, some of your taste in music overlap a little with mine - Alex Lloyd, Eskimo Joe's "Girl" and Groove Armada :)

Here are some odds for World Idol:

USA's Kelly Clarkson 7/4
U.K.'s Will Young 2/1
Germany's Alexander Klaws 3/1
Australia's Guy Sebastian 5/1
South Africa's Heinz Winckler 6/1
Canada's Ryan Malcolm 8/1
Holland's Jamai Loman 10/1
Belguim's Peter Evrard 12/1
Poland's Alicia Janosz 15/1
Lebanon's Diana Karazon 15/1
Norway's Kurt Nilsen 15/1

They are from the SMH website if anyone wants to read the article.

I guess it's not surprising given that I assume most American viewers would vote Kelly and UK ppl would vote Will...

Gay Sebastian is one of the ugliest people I have ever had the misfortune of laying eyes on. He looks like a fat Asian warthog with a head the size of a 44 gallon drum. He looks particularly scary in that video clip of his (well I've only seen it on the ad.)

What about his claim that his secret weapon is his virginity. You cant be a filthily ugly disgrace of a man who girls wouldnt even dare look at, not be able to get a root and then claim that you wanted it that way.

Give me a break!

Nice forum btw guys...

Apparantly you can't vote for your countries 'Idol' i.e. Americans can't vote for Clarkson, Aussies can't vote for Guy etc. Which means that if people want their country to win, then no-one will vote.... apart from those in another country at the time, like all the aussies in England could still vote for Guy, because they aren't in Aus. Also in America for their American Idol, the voting lines are free, where here in Aus, you have to pay. So if that stays the same, then it won't be a true opinion (well, it won't be anyway). Not sure if other countries normally have to pay or not.
