I've been spending a bit of time browsing other knights forums... i won't name names but it's quite obvious of which forum i speak. I would just like to say that LU's forums membership (both the knights area and LU in general) are made to look like philosophers, rhodes scholars and international grade coaches by comparsion to the general membership of this certain other forum. honestly, i go to reply to some posts at this place and i just don't know where to start... so i end up shaking my head, laughing, and moving on. the blind optimism, naivity and occasional sheer stupidity on display is simply mind boggling.

so i would just like to say that in spite of the stick that i tend to dish out (not likely to change), warrented sometimes and others not so much, that i have a newfound appreciation for this forum and the opinions that shared, discussed and debated within it.

well in, everyone. pats on the back all 'round. also a big thanks to LU, the staff, the mods and everyone else involved in providing these forums. it can be dog eat dog around LU from time to time, but i - for one - appreciate the level headedness and relaxed nature of the LU administration and moderation staff. it beats the living sh*t out of a forum that is run by fanatical zealots. i like the fact that we don't have to love each other around here... it gives the place character.

thanks to pervy for actually putting a bit of thought and passion into this place atm - being across the seas it is hard to keep in the loop - lord knows the herald isn't good for anything - so thanks mate, and also to the others having a dig. If I just had to rely on roopy's (informative yet wildly optimistic) posts, I would think we were leading the comp in every grade.... ;-)
