Does anyone know the name of the waters that lie between QLD and Fraser Island and the waters between QLD and Nth Stradbroke Island?

The one between the Qld coast and Fraser Is. is the Great Sandy Straight.


The other is Morton bay, I think.

This time though, my parents want to go North... into communist Vietnam..

Which really doesn't work since ALL of Vietnam is commie, though it is slowly turning in a capitalist state...

But yeah, we're heading off into Northern Vietnam for the first time in my life, and my whole families life as well.. including my parents..

Hahaha well as long as you're travelling by plane..

I went by the Spirit Of Tasmania.. not much to do really unless you've got a cabin to sleep in.. 10 hours of sailing.. bad news if ur sea-sick..

and the only form of entertainment comes from the bars and pubs.. bad news if you're under 18.. as i was when i went..

But if you know people there.. it should be alright

Yeah we are flying thank god. My partner wanted to go on the boat, and I only considered it so that I could take all the baby junk in the boot of my car and then also have some way of getting around while there.

I get seasick pretty badly, its a 20 hour trip from Sydney, otherwise I would have had to have driven to Melbourne, which would have meant a hell of a lot of shopping for me! (which definately isn't a bad thing).

Hrmm... that reminds me... I must start thinking about my next trip to Melbourne for a shopping spree :lol:
