Thought Nighty did some real good things today. Strong and safe. Defused a bomb amidst a crowd of Roosters. Picked up and ran but didn’t do anything stupid with the ball after the break. He is certainly putting it in running strongly from dummy half. Aitkin is giving him really poor service. Passing to his feet and not setting him up. I think it was Gus who commented, a world class centre sets his winger up for a try...

Was absolutely positive this thread was going to be about the blinder Nightingale had. Yes I more than open to strengthening our left wing position but in saying that, I think we may have struggled to win this game without him. He was heavily involved and gave us some stability and match awareness that comes with experience.

Aitken actually passed the ball to Nightingale twice today, that is twice as many times than in the whole year, including trials, but one pass was on Nightingale's shins.

Strengthening our left wing or right wing? Nene is close to the form winger in the comp this year.
