Does Price even know how to prepare a competitive footy team of any nature?
Judging on the last 2 years and this year a BIG NO.
Does Price even know how to prepare a competitive footy team of any nature?
All I can add to all that has been said is they better perform against the Bunnies next week or it's a life boat for me.
Complete disagree with you.
The Bulldogs treated it as a laugh. Hasler wasnt there. Nowhere near full strength. They don't care.
We took almost everyone.
We've banged on about improving our attack. .
What stories gave I made up? If today's performance does make you happy then you have real problems!
Each to their own I guess.
Where did we indicate we were taking this super seriously? We did say we didn't train for it. Not sure how this could be a valid arguement.
Except for a recognised halves combination that won't be playing as our halves for the season.
Its touch footy - not real footy. And without the halves we will be playing with - which was the problem last year.
Next game will hopefully give us a better indication - but as has been mentioned - it depends on the amount of experimentation.
We took a fully-experienced NRL-esque side over, no rookies and few wild-cards. I'm not sure if you watched the games or not, but individual performances as well as lack of cohesion amongst the team were enough to show that we have not moved forward from last year.
I do get what your saying. It's not something to base our season on. But the fact that we lost isn't what stings. It's the fact that the same patterns are emerging as 2013. It shows we won't fair much better.
What I am saying is that you can't even say that. This is a different type of football - essentially touch footy.
If our attack sucks in the Charity Shield, then I will be concerned. But not for this joke format.
It's not touch football, there's 4 less players per side...there's a bit more space, more energy and more urgency due to time limits, but it's jot as erratic at Rugby 7s. It's enough to show that we have no structure, little self believe and haven't grown from last year.
