Not really, but I will quote it for posterity...

Fortitude Valley isn't an aboriginal cultural centre you f**king moron, its the centre of Brisbane

Hows about going to somewhere like Tennant Creek, Yalara, Alice Springs etc. Places where the governments do little to help the aboriginies in any way. The mistreatment of aboriginies, primarily through a lack of intervention and action by local and state governments is just as appalling as any other crime ever committed.

The stolen generations is not a myth. It's something that actually happened. I doubt a Prime Minister, of any political persuasion is going to apologise for alleged incidents or myths.

Bending truth may be one thing, but I think you'll find history isn't flexible at all.

I think realredneckboy should concentrate on his banko playin, I think he is almost as laughable as the goose who started this thread. Standing up for yourself has nothing to do with the pic you have. I'd imagine youd be shaking in your oversized docs even thinking about blowing the smoke in anothers face.

Weak redneck turd. Take a trip to Palm Island, I'm sure they would sort you out, if you got off the plane that is.

Loathe as I am to enter into the fray here chilli boy, do you get all of your info from the townsville bulletin or the cairns post ?

I have worked on both palm island and in mount isa and have experienced good and bad from aboriginals. I find that the problems are very complex and that it's best to take people as they come. A dickhead is a dickhead regardless of skin colour.

Now this is just my take on things but especially on palm the vast majority of white people who chose to come to the island to work came for one of three reasons.

!) money. Thats what attracted me there. I was taking home in a week what i used to take home in a fortnight

2) missionaries. They thought they could save everybody from their lives not realising that the problems were huge and that the locals had seen so many just like them come and go with good intentions that they had stopped caring. Eventually this type got depressed and angry and left feeling like failures

3)the crazy. The ones who couldn't get jobs other places due to their personalities, drug or alcohol use, mental health issues or lack of work ethic.

I was there for 18 monthes and left when i found myself thinking that living in a compound was normal. One of my work colleagues are still there and one has gone completly native. Think he is one of the locals is is behaving as such. It is a strange place.

So you admit that you are biased in your reading habits.

Your intense dislike of aborigines seems to be a turn-on for you. Tell me redhilbilly, do you get some sort of thrill when you read about grannies being bashed up aboriginal youths?

I take it he does not get the "vinegar stroke" feeling when he reads about a group of AJ's bashing a homeless aboriginal man, or two white fellas tipping an esky full of urine and fish guts over a homless aboriginal man who was 65 years old, and asleep at the time. I can only guess he does not believe it or just skips the article and justifies not reading it based on cultural sensitivities.

In short you are a knobwad.
