There are a lot of people that would agree with you tho, those that wear the Aussie flag as a cape while getting wasted and picking fights with cops on Australia Day. These guys don't have a shred of patriotism in them, and use the flag as a vehicle for racism.

Cast your mind back to the 'pre-cronulla riot days'. There were far less Aussie flags around compared to now, especially among young people.

The aborigines want their own flag and want to be seperate from everybody else.
