Nope, because in the context of the incident they'd be hard pressed even proving it was a head butt. To me it didn't look like one, rather than he was struggling to get up and lifted his head in doing so. Didn't have the short, sharp impact of a headbutt.

Who knows though, he's gotten a reputation which he likes to talk up these days.

I'm hoping Matai and Gallen both play next week, Love the niggling type players, the game needs more of it..Gallen/Bird vs Watmough in terms of game play and niggle antics will be great to watch.

I'm hearing you Dutchy.

Careful though, Stuart might put the feared, the weird, the totally revered football animal Paris Gump on Matai!

we are going very well without kimmorley we only need to have a season ending injury to simmo and then we will be a great open free flowing attacking team

Well I don't know about everyone else but I just got cheered up.

Rest easy Manly supporters - this side is waiting to be thrashed this year & The Sea Eagles are winners, the Sharks are born losers.

My son asked me on Sunday who I was going for in the semis, seems familiar this time of year.

Gee on any given day pre july you'd nearly have to give the boy a slap, but thanks to his youthful honesty you should pat him on the head.

My boy is 29 - he just laughs and says - are you still following that sh!t you stupid old fart.

You will never learn

It seems to me that Sharks supporters have definitely changed over the years.

8 weeks out and we are already writing off any chance of the finals, slashing wrists, invocking deities, planning holidays, lamenting our loss.

Not me , not yet.

With age comes patience nad its not time just yet.

You don't win a prem in July( I think I've said that every month since Feb).

For mine I will walk down the hill and root them all (sic)...

so we have a month to get the house in order then a month to show what we can do then a month to win the bloody comp.

New blood, enthusiasm for the task and calm, focused commitment are the orders of the day.

The games not done yet.

i cant beleive we are only 2 pts out of the 8.. crikey any of the 7 4 or less pt losses would have us in the 8 and 4 of them would see us outright 3rd

I'm just being realistic but I've written off the season as we have no fire power, we're more stodgy than during the Arthur Beetson years (92-93). Its time to experiment and look at new combinations, and it looks like ol Ricky will be forced into it following the 1 week suspensions to Gallen, Watts etal.

Just remember Aus - that little #7 that couldn't kick a field goal to save his life, let alone win us a couple of games early on. Tiges and a couple of others. Gee those 4 or possibly 6 competition points would of come in handy right now.... I said at the time they'd come back and snap us on the arse.

I am applying the savlon cream right now.

Cheers

Use tiger Balm instead Quigs, you might not be able to sit down for a while, but at least you'll stop thinking about the Sharks.

Where as I hope you are right Chondricthyes, I just don't know. This weekend I will cheer harder than any other game this season as I just loath Manly. In my heart all hope and no fear, a real belief we will cause the upset of the season. Geez I'd love to see us win this weekend.

Yet I'm beginning think where will our next win come from. Even the Spoon is a bit too close for my liking.
