No team has ever won the premiership after conceding 50pts in a regular season match

What about hypothetical scenarios where 50 points or more should have been conceded? The Broncos really should have run 60 past us earlier in the season but Moylan ruined all that by masterminding a 3 try burst in a 10 minute period.

It was an interesting statement from Rdave considering this gem from him in the crowd thread...

Perhaps he is bringing the avg down on his own... significantly!

Nothing I've seen you contribute would cause upset, other than to your family.

I wouldn't call it brave either. I just have above average ability to link unconnected pieces of information to make a point... and I don't even live in Canberra!

We were never going to win anyway. Bit hard when you are fielding a team over a million under the cap. I think week 2 of the finals would be good, week 3 overachieving. I had us bottom 4 before the season so I'm pleasantly surprised.

Yeah Dugan, Thompson and Masoe together come to about $1m in cap space.

Matai and Stewart have been under our cap all season. That is what that is in reference too. Not that either of them would have added much, as Stewart hasn't turned up since mid 2015 and Matai's body gave up on him completely around that time.

Honestly Sunday was what I was expecting all this season

Manly, like us, are a team rebuilding, and are horribly inconsistent. The only thing I can say in their favour is Barrett seems a bit more of an astute operator as a coach than Mary does. Mary is a walking encyclopedia of business cliches, lame catch phrases, and weak excuses. Barrett seems to actually understand the game, and to have a bit of competitive fire in the belly.

Did tent borrow Mary's tries from kicks excuse post match on sunday? Chuck an intercept on there as well and they go into the break 6-0 down

This article for Neil Henry couldn't have come out at the worst time on a 54-0 drubbing. I actually felt bad for them tonight, there was one pass that they threw that went to ground and went forward and you could see Jarryd Hayne and I think Anthony Don yelling they were very frustrated.

Titans coach Neil Henry believes the Gold Coast can become an NRL powerhouse

TITANS coach Neil Henry has vowed to fight back against the almighty Broncos and believes he has put the building blocks in place for the Gold Coast to become an NRL powerhouse.

On the eve of Saturday’s derby at Cbus Super Stadium, Henry hit back at Wayne Bennett’s declaration he wants to bring Ashley Taylor back to Brisbane by revealing the Titans will look to lure Broncos players home.

The Titans have already signed local product Jai Arrow from the Broncos for 2018 to go with Jarrod Wallace, who became an Origin player with the Gold Coast this year.

In Taylor they have a bona fide future representative star who could pilot the club for a decade but they are facing an immense battle to retain him beyond next season.

With six premierships in 30 years and a track record of consistent success, the Broncos are an incredibly attractive proposition for Taylor.

But Henry said the Titans were building their own legacy and were ready to fight Brisbane for supremacy in the south east.

Henry is a moron who can't coach for shit, every side he has coached can't defend. Only way they'll become a powerhouse is if they f**k hin off.
