The 50 is in premiership games though and not tickle and giggle trial matches.

Same as no team that has finished 8th has won the comp. Teams have made Grand Finals from 8th though.

Thinking back I don't think any team won a comp that finished 5th in the old NSWRL Sydney 12 Team Comp - Brisbane won the comp from 5th place in 1993 NSWRL Comp which was a 16 team comp
