No, the question was correct. What is a "yo-yos" - in reference to THE "yo-yos" that Santa alegedly bought me.
Using correct grammar rules, the plural of "yo-yo" is "yo-yoes".
However, the sublect matter is not a "yo-yo", but a "yo-yos".
BTW, by defenition, a Trans Tasman test cannot involve Brisbane, because then it would be a Trans Coral/Tasman test. The Tasman sea lies between NSW and NZ.
