I think it'll be between Clyde and Croker. Personally, I'm going to vote for Croker in the second row.

Clyde should go straight through in my opinion. Simply because of the other possible nominees they were as much 2nd rowers as locks. While Clyde is the best lock forward to play the game since Johnny Raper. Although I rate Daley as the best player i've ever seen and Stuart was incredible as was Meninga - only Clyde and Steve Walters truly rate as the best at their positions since an immortal like Raper. And Walters is arguably the best hooker of all time. We should just skip to Second Row - which I believe will be the most hotly contested position along with what we saw with fullback. Clyde HAS to be the lock.

Yes, I forgot Dean Lance, he played lock in the 1987 Grand Final; but second row in the later ones. Anyway, I will do up a quick poll before I head off for the week.

Coote wasn't exclusively AFTER Raper as their careers overlapped (i'm 99% sure that was the case). Don't get me wrong from what i've heard from people who saw him Coote was a brilliant player, but I have not personally seen a more complete work-rate in the 20 or so years I've been watching football. I don't think I'll ever see another pure athlete like Clyde in that position, although without blowing smoke up his (you know where) Sonny Bill Williams could well remind us all how freakishly fit and skilled Clyde was.

i am in favour of the 2 polls, because most will vote for rubes, and after that we all need to be able to pick the 2nd best as well, if u get my drift?
