This is another area where the AFL administration gets it right. New teams get the top 5 draft picks plus whomever they draft.

That's one way of making sure they don't have 5 bottom 4 teams.

f**k Wayne and f**k the dolphins. “Don’t need another bottom 4 club” is a dumb arse statement. There will always be bottom 4 clubs, 4 of them in fact.
Exactly. On the plus side, some shitty team in 2023 is going to find themselves out if the bottom 4 and all of a sudden a top 13 side...

The tigers, who have been through 6 coaches in 10 years are going to employ Tim sheens (who they sacked about 11 years ago) for 2 years so they can go and find another coach after that?? On top of this they are going to hire benji and Farrah (who they have also previously sacked as players - benji twice) as assistants with a view for benji to maybe take over in 2 years, benji being a bloke who has never coached at all???
They are a f**king funny club.

You forgot to mention Sheens was involved in determining what they needed in a head coach

Imagine that.
"Well what you need is an old, experienced bloke. One who has won a grand final. It would be better if he knows the club already. Preferably someone who has been out of the game for a while so he is fresh. Waaaait a minute" - Tim Sheens, probably

And weren't Benji and Robbie part of the reason Sheens got sacked 10 years ago due to player power.

Will be interesting to see what Tim sheens can do. Been a long time since he coached in the nrl.
