At half time I thought it was going great, remember thinking this was our year then that was the end of that.
Same.
Hopefully we go a bit better this year with no pressure on us now.

Will be interesting to see now if the NRL punishes the victims of his alleged crime.2GB reporting that a Panthers player has been arrested and charged regarding the release of sex videos.
Danny Weidler has reported on 9 that it is Tyrone May.

What does this mean? How would the NRL have any jurisdiction over them and why would they want to do that? Will be interesting to see now if the NRL punishes the victims of his alleged crime.

I think it's an allusion to Napa? Being that he allegedly wasn't the one to release his tape, which could easily make him the victim of a crime...
I think the fact he has been charged suggests that at least initially he disseminated the video between mates without consent. This would suggest the NRL would punish him. I haven’t seen anything to suggest Big Papi disseminated the videos. He didn’t even take the videos as opposed to May who did.
Ah I see. It won’t really matter though because he’ll be punished for the dissemination and I’d say whatever punishment gets handed down will be lumped together.Yeah which is the point.
In punishing Big Papi the NRL have, essentially, punished the victim. He seemingly didn't disseminate or even film the videos
Pointing out the irony of Napa being punished by the NRL after someone disseminated a lewwwd video of him. Perhaps the difference is that Napa wasn't videoed without consent. I don't know....there's too many sides of these stories to form a black and white opinionWhat does this mean? How would the NRL have any jurisdiction over them and why would they want to do that?

Which brings to my mind, is he just being seen to be paying? Financially that is. NRL has to be seen to be doing something, but really what authority do they have to financially penalise someone? Or do they withhold grant money to the club then it's up to the club to pass this on. I'm starting to think that they are digging themselves a deeper hole but I do feel a bit sorry for them in a way because they are trying to stop stupidity.Greenberg said that some one has to pay for damage to the NRL brand so Napa was his bunny, he had no one else to punish in this case as Napa was the only NRL player involved that comes under Greenberg's jurisdiction
He has also said it may not be fair but some one has to pay.

If May released tapes of other players without their consent then they are victims of a crime. I thought that was what he was charged with. What does this mean? How would the NRL have any jurisdiction over them and why would they want to do that?
I could be way off but I thought some former Penrith player has released them. May is charged with sharing them with this dude and maybe others but who the f*ck really knowsIf May released tapes of other players without their consent then they are victims of a crime. I thought that was what he was charged with.
