Running a music festival seems like a hassle coupled with a burden. So many recent examples of festivals in Australia folding.

Hopefully everyone gets their money back.

My kid wants a PlayStation 4 I want to get him a drone instead. When I was a kid a remote control aeroplane was stuff of legend.

PS I never got one. My parents couldn't afford it.

If I were a kid I think I'd prefer the PS4... all weather fun, rather than disappointment in the wet (or dark) of winter.

Had a great day today in the pool with the kids. Helps when you finally change the chlorinator. Now heading to the Bavarian Beer Cafe at Westfields Miranda. God they renovated the whole place well.

he owes over 25 million

over 2 mill to Soundgarden
over 1 mill to Slipknot, Smashing Pumkins and a few others

and now he owes money to kids who have to save for ages to buy a $190 ticket

It sounds like no one got paid for last years SW and he blames ticket agencies and everyone except himself.

There is a thread in the Music Forum.

Star Wars was killer!

Yes, it's basically the same story as the original but that's because that story (called The Hero's Journey) is a tried-and-true classic. It goes all the way back to Ancient Egypt.

Rey was fantastic and will carry the trilogy well and the other characters were all great. Wasn't a sell out like the Prequels so I'm very, very happy.

Saw it yesterday too. Thought it was good but I was a bit frustrated that the story was the same as the first one. Needed more Hamill!

Yep.
A wonderful return to form.

And how much better is it seeing real sets as opposed to characters walking about in front of green screen.
