He was the voice of Origin in the 80s. A big part of what made it great at a time when the game meant more to me than it does now.

I can remember our family going to the house up the road to watch it because they had better TV reception. Every game was an event and something we looked forward to all year. Great times.

RIP Darrell. Thanks for the memories.
