I reckon I kept the Telopea fish and chip shop in business with the amount of scollops I bought as a kid.
And, 5 scollops for 20 cents was expensive back then for a kid!!

I used to get mine from Johnnys Milk Bar at Carlingford Station.

IIRC there was an awsome cake shop at Telopea shops. Great pies.

Yep, Johnny's was great too but Telopea shops were closer to my place and an easy walk or bike ride from my home just off Kirby st.
And yes, the pies were sensational at the bakery at Telopea.

I'm lucky that my local pie shop atm bakes similarly great pies. The best I've tasted since those ones I had as a kid at Telopea.
Good times.

and i have lycra bike pants, but only cos they are padded and i wear em under shorts, cos frankly its not a flattering look

and i am scared as shit riding on the road and avoid traffic like f**k

Brothers fish and chips in Seven Hills Shopping Centre are consistently the best F&C shop in the Blacktown area that I know of.
