Thanks Suity. I should have mentioned that Mum is in a wheelchair and I am very unfit, so wont be pushing her up and down that place. Looks bloody good though.Mt Tomah Botanical Gardens.

That might be a lil too long a drive Gary but thanks anyway.
There are some damning reviews about that place Gronk but thanks. any more?
I'd rather not head in that direction as too much of the drive is through heavy traffic in shitty sydney to get there. I'd like a large percentage of the drive to be scenic. thanks.Scarborough Pub. Between Stanwell Tops (where they hang glide) and Wollongong. Pub on a headland.

I know a good place for a wheelchair. Wollongong Golf Club. Really nice out on the balcony. Bistro food was OK.

I'm thinking of going to Mangrove Mountain via Windsor and back down the old road. Anyone know of a good place to eat on that route?
Otherwise, Lithgow via Katoomba and back down the Bells.
No worries. You did ask for somewhere North. That might be a lil too long a drive Gary but thanks anyway.
Golf course is good too. Links style. It’s probably one of the very few places I haven’t been to down here, not sure why.
Will have to check it out one day!
You been there? Is it any good? Up that way on the long weekend and looking for a pub to watch the GF
Yeah, that's a big day out for the old girl.So Husky via Kangaroo Valley is out of the question
Talking of wheel chairs, one of my mates is in one, gee night clubs and pubs aren’t set up that well for disable access
Tomorrow I am taking my mum for a drive and for some lunch. If anyone knows of somewhere good to go, any suggestions would be appreciated. I'd like to keep the lunch bill under $100 if possible and I'd prefer the drive to be west or north of sydney I'll go south if its not down cronulla/ national park way. cheers.
Edit: Mum is in a wheelchair and I'm not very fit so flat paths and chair access appreciated.
Thanks mate. It sounds good but sitting on the freeway for hours each way isn't what she would enjoy. I think I have it sussed now. I'm thinking up the old road to Berowra, down to Berowra waters for lunch and then home via Pitt Town. I dunno. Something like that. A nice scenic drive in the bush/countryside.The Entrance waterfront precinct is wheelchair accessible and has plenty of lunch options. If you want to go a bit further Swansea RSL is a good place to have lunch by the water. The bistro food is decent and well within the $100 budget.

Wisemens Ferry isn't that far for you and the pub does excellent chicken schnitzels. Just a thought. Thanks mate.
