I'm thinking of going to Mangrove Mountain via Windsor and back down the old road. Anyone know of a good place to eat on that route?
Otherwise, Lithgow via Katoomba and back down the Bells.

Tomorrow I am taking my mum for a drive and for some lunch. If anyone knows of somewhere good to go, any suggestions would be appreciated. I'd like to keep the lunch bill under $100 if possible and I'd prefer the drive to be west or north of sydney I'll go south if its not down cronulla/ national park way. cheers.

Edit: Mum is in a wheelchair and I'm not very fit so flat paths and chair access appreciated.

The Entrance waterfront precinct is wheelchair accessible and has plenty of lunch options. If you want to go a bit further Swansea RSL is a good place to have lunch by the water. The bistro food is decent and well within the $100 budget.

Thanks mate. It sounds good but sitting on the freeway for hours each way isn't what she would enjoy. I think I have it sussed now. I'm thinking up the old road to Berowra, down to Berowra waters for lunch and then home via Pitt Town. I dunno. Something like that. A nice scenic drive in the bush/countryside.

Wisemens Ferry isn't that far for you and the pub does excellent chicken schnitzels. Just a thought.
