Maya Bay in Thailand (you get there via Phi Phi Island off Phukett or Krabi) has been closed indefinitely bc of tourist trashing.

When I went there it was low season, so we were lucky. Hot day and we had the place (almost) to ourselves.

Good to see the Thai Government taking responsible action.
