Tbh, the prat is easy to boo. He is such a tool.
And so is Jamie Lyon or Cameron Smith. Facts are that if it was revealed that the booing caused hurt because of racial undertones, reasonable people would cease the banter because they deep down dont want to offend. Sadly AFL fans continued fully aware that they were vilifying Goodes.

Are there no aboriginal players in the team she supports? ... wouldnt she think she is disrespecting her own players too?

OK, other side of the coin..

If I boo someone because they're a dickhead and deserve to be boo'ed, them taking it racially doesn't make them less of a dickhead, or less deserving of being boo'ed for being said dickhead. Being offended by something is the problem of the person that is offended. Booing Goodes is fair play as long as the booing isn't racially motivated, which it wasn't. Even the incident that started the whole incident wasn't racially motivated, even though he chose to take it that way.

Here's another example, say in a Parra game, we boo when we see a forward pass, or the defense line is offside, now, say there's a player on the team that chooses to believe we are booing at him based on his race (or whatever other things you can be offended for), should we immediately stop booing? Is it our fault that he chose to put a negative meaning to something we did that was motivated by something completely different entirely?

The racist slurs are generally picked up by the media, only the women who threw the banana will know if it was deemed racist or not, or it was the only thing in her bag and she just did it without thinking.

The media wont let it go because it sells papers and its clickbait, so who knows

You are absolutely right and you are entitled to boo away when it's about healthy banter. However if afterwards you are told that the person who you aimed your banter at actually was taking it as having racial undertones, then I am sure you would stop. Going on with the booing when you know that it is being interpreted as a racial slur, is trailer park white trash redneck bad shit.

See, yes and no. Yes, because poor didums can't take being boo'ed even though they know full well it's not racially motivated, but have said so in the media so that it'll guilt people into stopping, and make a better story about the evil racist fans..

No because I can boo a dickhead for being a dickhead if I damn well feel like it.

Perhaps then you should wear a t-shirt which clarifies your position and prevent well meaning merkins from beating you up.

Mistakes happen all the time. It's more about how you handle it afterwards that determines intent and malice.
