the ones I saw today were humpbacks going off the image I posted, they were about 200 metres off Snapper Rocks at Coolie

I've been out fishing and a whale I've never seen before breached about 50 metres from out boat and it was pretty scary although they are not aggressive, just f**king huge

well its generally pretty quiet out there till one of those f**kers come crashing back into the ocean

one of the noisiest things I ever heard out in the ocean was a huge pod of dolphins breaching the water, literally hundreds or thousands of them, took about 15-20 mins for them all to pass, its was like a huge roar like a plane taking off

I’m looking into going over to WA to swim with whale sharks. And then when my kids are old enough, I’ll go blue whale spotting. Land animals really aren’t much chop
