When Hollywood actors try to tell me who to vote for or give me advice about the world I always vomit in my mouth a little.

It's cool to hate Trump so therefore celebrities like being cool so will support Hilary. They'll also be ultra vocal about it too.

The smarter celebrities know that both suck and just realise the country is screwed regardless!

Yeh, the Democrats amaze me. All they had to do was pick someone non-controversial (e.g. Bernie Sanders would have fit the bill) and Trump would be 20 points behind. But no, they pick Hillary, in the full knowledge that the FBI investigation was incomplete, and the past 'baggage' that alienates some voters.

INVESTIGATORS are trying to work out how a lone deer found itself on an inner Sydney road in peak hour traffic.

Police say the stag was killed when it was hit by a BMW while crossing Old South Head Road in Woollahra, a posh residential neighbourhood in the city’s inner east, about 6.50pm on Friday.

The deer died at the scene, located only a few hundred metres from the busy shopping hub of Bondi Junction.

The driver who hit him stopped immediately and was cleared in a breath test, according to police.

Christopher Zinn, cycling home on Friday evening, arrived at the crash site within moments of the accident.

“It was still alive at that stage — but its breathing was laboured and it was obviously in shock. It didn’t look like it was long for this world,” he told AAP.

“The question is, where did it come from?”

It is a question investigators were yet to answer late on Friday.

“Police from Eastern Suburbs Local Area Command are continuing their inquiries to identify where the deer came from,” NSW Police said in a statement.

That's not how their vote works though. Because it's non compulsory, it's not a two horse race (technically not one anyway but their minority parties are worse than ours) but a vote between republicans, democrats and just not turning up to vote. And it's important because out of the hardcore always voters, republicans have always had considerable lead. It would have been tough choice but Sanders is unlikely to inspire Joe Cantbef**ked to actually get off his ass to vote, whereas Trump will inspire the fearful and the political anarchists, as well as the social progressives against him. Hilary will get more women voters and probably the non white vote (although they shouldn't be) except she's more likely to have Christian hardcore and the conservative, even women, vote against her.
Sanders would have only got voters who liked his policies and they would have been voting anyway.
I reckon it'll be closest vote on record

Yeh, I'm well aware of how the US political system works (and you left out the bit about potential candidate's necessary ability to raise tens of millions of $$ in campaign funding). Trump has inspired a number of the economically and socially conservative, but fundamentally decent, people to look for an alternative candidate. Only some of those will go as far as voting for Hillary. The Democrats only realised that Trump was serious chance of winning the nomination quite late in the piece.

The other thing going against Hillary is Claire Underwood.

OMG what planet to do antivaxers live on ?

Doctor used cat saliva, vodka in kid's shots

US regulators have suspended the licence of a suburban Chicago doctor who allegedly gave patients modified vaccinations containing cat saliva and vodka.

The Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation ordered the emergency action in the interest of public safety, according to paperwork signed by acting director Jessica Baer.

After hearing complaints from health care providers that children were getting unapproved oral versions of childhood shots from Dr Ming Te Lin, investigators visited Lin's Flossmoor practice.

They found a cluttered, unsterile office and 'a box filled with vials and tubes that (Lin) was using to make his own vaccinations'.

Lin told investigators he had been preparing alternative vaccinations for children for more than a decade, according to the order.

Despite his unapproved methods, Lin is accused of signing state forms certifying he had given paediatric patients their conventional shots.

Charts showed the patients who received unapproved oral vaccines included a seven-day-old infant.

A phone message and email seeking comment from Lin on the allegations were not immediately returned.

Lin added alcohol and sometimes cat saliva gathered with a swab from a cat's mouth for patients with allergies, he told investigators, and he used a device called the 'WaveFront 2000' to detoxify vaccinations from mercury.

Lin gave vaccines orally or in a nasal form if the patient or a family member had a history of autism, eczema or neurological disorder.

None of Lin's methods is approved by the Food and Drug Administration or regarded as legitimate medicine.

He did not inform his patients of the risks of failing to follow vaccine guidelines, the state's paperwork says.

A hearing before the Medical Disciplinary Board is set for October 11 in Chicago.

Queue that Gang Gajang song

Out on the patio we'd sit, / And the humidity we'd breathe, / We'd watch the lightning crack over canefields / Laugh and think, this is Australia

I used to like the song, but when I was a lad I worked Saturday mornings at Waltons (the pieces of which are somewhere scattered in the Harvey Norman empire I guess), and they had the bloody song on high-rotation-repeat for about 2 years.
