Meet the man refusing to learn election result

While the rest of you are either cheering or crying amid a blur of racist graffiti and tweets waging war on Broadway, one humble fellow is refusing to give in.

More than a week after Donald Trump became the 45th President of the United States, American man Joe Chandler still has no idea of the outcome.

“I was invited to an election party to stay up into the night with everybody gnawing their nails, hanging on and I thought, oh there has to be a better way,” he told Fox News.

“I’m still living in a bubble of blissful ignorance.”

The South Georgia artist works from home, and says he’s avoided television, newspapers and social media since the election.

His daughter now sends him edited updates of the news so he can stay up-to-date without learning the result.

The best part of all? He walks around outside with his headphones on and a big sign strapped to him that reads: “I don’t know who won, and don’t want to. PLEASE DON’T TELL ME!”

That’s a heck of an effort.

Putting aside the bartman/Gronk part above - this is how the world has worked over the last 5 or so years.

The best part is that they have no self-awareness and are just doubling down after the election, which is only going to seal the fate of SJW culture.

It seems that both Andrew Bolt and Miranda Devine seem to think that he is too PC and that he thinks that ISIS and Boko Haram are simply a conglomeration of criminals. Extremists in their "religion" yet are attracted by the viking life of drugs, rape, destruction and pillage.

It also seems that Andrew Bolt and Miranda Devine want him to say that the problem is muslim and not the lunatic fringe of a billion plus peaceful religion. They want him to say that muslims are a threat to our safety.

I think people should accept the result and move on but that's not how the world works.

People are allowed to express their anger and resentment at Trump being elected, just as people would have been allowed to protest if Trump didn't get it in.

Whether we like it or not Trump is going to be Gronk's plaything for the next four years. We'll be here to keep him honest, though.
