Isn't anywhere between Parramatta and the city the inner west? Where's the arbitrary border if not the geographic centre of Sydney?I heard a merkin on talk-back over the weekend say that he lived in the inner west - Ermington.
Since when is Ermo (next to Dundas Valley) the inner west ?

Wouldn't that make it the outer east?Isn't anywhere between Parramatta and the city the inner west? Where's the arbitrary border if not the geographic centre of Sydney?

Sounds like a middle half to meWouldn't that make it the outer east?
But thats evolved from the days when "Western Suburbs" played at Lidcombe and had a leagues club at AshfieldGenuine inner west
Newtown,Annandale out toAshfield/Haberfield.
Then can push for suburbs like Five dock,Concord,Croydon Park,Burwood as also part geographically also but unsure if you'd consider it part of the inner west when people tend to talk about it. They seem different.
Ryde-Eastwood Leagues Club (Balmain feeder) is in West Ryde, so yeah.So west ryde and denistone are the inner west?
And right next to the middle east.Sounds like a middle half to me
