Calm down captain defensive. I didn't turn anyone's words into something they're not.

Whether people took Gronks post as a general observation or a comment in relation to this particular situation, I'm sure everyone agrees that the media report stories for their own commercial gain.

All I was pointing out was that the point didn't have to be made in specific reference to this story, where a positive came out of a horrible situation.

I didn't have a problem with what Gronk raised. It was a fairly reasonable observation made free of any emotion.

That's not what happened at all. It's 'blatantly obvious' what happened:

Gronk did not suggest that Beau is a merkin and that he shouldn't do good things. Good things are good!

Gronk just made the observation that perhaps Ch 9 saw an opportunity to use these good tasks as a way of improving his public profile which has undoubtedly taken a hit.

That's not to suggest that Ch 9 are wrong in doing this, it is just highlighting what might be driving their reporting.

That was the 'blatantly obvious' point being made.

I was actually agreeing with you, i do rant and go off on tangents. Rational people like yourself and Barry are usually on the right path.....

Doesn't mean my opinion changes, but I also don't claim to be right, I just have an opinion or sometimes make observations whether I agree with it myself or not.
