Its a similar argument to ones that I have seen the likes of Candace Owens, Jordan Peterson and Ben Shapiro make.
There is some merit to it. Alot of what has happened in the last couple of years has been fairly heavy handed and at times an uneccessary level of Government intervention given the risk.
But...(you knew there was a but). I think he's making a point that IALB and I were discussing. Thats been the situation for everyone. Generally speaking it isnt easy in this country for unvaccinated people to have the same freedoms as vaccinated people. In fact, some may say its impossible.
On that basis, it isnt surprising that Novak has run into the same problems. Throw in the fact that he is famous and there was public backlash about his arrival early on and its obvious why it has happened. Up until 2 days ago being 'tough on COVID' was politically advantageous. Its helped a couple of state governments get re-elected, why not the Feds?
Not a good look now but something that ScoMo thought would work. I would love to have seen his smug face when he realised public opinion started to shift towards Novak.
