I'm not a fan either. There isn't really anything redeeming about him tbh. I voted for the merkin though, Might potentially vote Labor at the election which would be the first time since 1996.
This Novak scandal will further damage him. He as you are probably aware lived close to me here in the Sutherland Shire. Literally 500m away as the crow flies and I used to see him in a local shop that makes these great burgers.

He always came across as a bit fake. Nothing genuine about him like old school politicians - Howard and Hawke. I also voted for him in the last election however this time I’m almost inclined to write something silly on the ballot paper. I won’t be voting for him but I just can’t do Albanese either. He makes Morrison almost sound like Obama who is the best public speaker I’ve ever watched.

I think Frydenberg will be the next Liberal Prime Minister however his background will have plenty stabbing him within his own party. Which is a disgrace because I think he has obvious talent.

The problem with both parties is that the sensible ones in the middle who would possibly make the best leaders don't have the support within their own party because they aren't aligned with a faction.

At least Parra doesn't have this problem anymore.

My favourite part of the article

‘Quite possibly the world’s healthiest man has been deemed a danger to public health in a nation where two thirds of adults are overweight or obese by a government that has, at various points over the last two years, done a more than passable impression of having gone completely nuts.’

the same thing was said about Kelly slater, but I'm not sure who's the biggest f**kwit, because according to Slater he knows more than 99% of the doctors

This seems to be like a game of chess, I think Hawke is waiting for some one else to make a move so that he doesn't have to

Albo's speech impediment is hard to take, but in his favour, he's not an empty suit like so many in the current government.

Unfortunately what will win ( or lose ) the next election will be how effective the opposition are at maintaining the narrative on the many f**kups of this government, and Scotty in particular.

Which means we are in for a very negative campaign over the next four months or so. Particularly given thus far it seems like Scotty's only answer is "you reckon we're shit, look how shit these other shit merkins are"

End of the day, you don't have to vote "for" any merkin, cause for the most part governments are voted out, rather than oppositions being voted in, but if you want this merkin out, there's really only one way to do it.

Is it to vote "for" someone else or can you just tick the "ScoMo must go" box?

Albo won't make the same mistake as Bill "I've got another policy" Shorten. He'll relentlessly focus on the f**k ups.

I reckon ScoMo will try and argue that the other guys don't have a plan and are just complainers hoping he'll make the same mistake as Shorten. It won't work though.

Apparently this is his call. That way SloMo can blame someone else when the shit hits the fan.
Yeah that was also my call the other day.

Last night he bravely said

"These are personal ministerial powers able to be exercised by Minister Alex Hawke and I don't propose to make any further comment at this time," Mr Morrison said.
