its a fact that it does go badly for some people

maybe the average joe bloe can move on more readily than someone who's life is sport - we hear it relentlously from NRL players how their careers are short and injury can ruin them, so they need to do what they can while they can

having said that, some sports people are already more filthy rich than others - but there is more than just money

Some merit in parts of this article. There are certainly some things that Novak could clarify. Maybe he has already behind the scenes?

I also think the point around him not mentioning his COVID result to close contacts is well made.

He is entitled to make decisions for himself. In the process of making that decision he must be mindful of the consequences. That does not mean that he gets special treatment at our border. Lord knows that others don't get special treatment from the AU government when it comes to the border (OK unless you're a mate of Dutton and you need your au-pair's visa extended).

How about the blatant pork barelling with his sports rorts and railway carparks in liberal or marginal seats ? They denied it, but in the end they were exposed and said - so what ? $8 billion IIRC. That then leads into his promise for a federal ICAC, however that was just a lie.

Last election he spent $52 million on advertising which was designed to take votes away from labor and slide preferences to LNP.

So a vote for clive or pauline is a vote for LNP anyway.
