Whisk(e)y is pure alcohol flavoured by the grain mash. Then further flavoured in the various barrels it lives in or filtered through. Mad merkins from Islay etc also burn @parra pete .

IIRC American Whiskey (bourbon at least) have rules about adding flavours and colours like caramel (you can't).

All are pretty much zero carb.

What do merkins drink ? I have a few favs.
