I'm not really dealing with your "predictions", neither of us can see the future, I'm dealing with your assessment of the here and now.Well not really because I’ve conceded my predictions might be wrong. But they are certainly not illogical. That’s how assessments work in the face of insufficient information. We generally don’t prove theories, we can usually only disprove them. This is where the term ‘black swan’ comes from. No amount of white swans can prove that ‘all swans are white’, but a single black swan can disprove it.
I’ve got enough money and credentials that I’m not worried about myself. I thought I made that clear. I am worried about the people I care about who have nothing. Hope is closely linked to opportunity. When people with nothing are told their opportunities will be eroded to address historical grievances they lose hope.
