Anyone seen Alan Joyce in the past week.

6 qantas flights in the past week have had mechanical issues.

Yet no one from qantas management has come out and addressed the issue.

Heaven help if a major incident happens.
This is a fairly predictable outcome of the existential threat posed to the air travel industry by the Covid response. To stay alive companies needed to cut costs, and one area that can occur is in risk management, which includes the management of safety risks.

Do you think ‘only rich people play tennis’?
A quick google search indicates quite a few top tier tennis players grew up relatively poor. The Williams sisters for starters, Agassi, Novak, Sharapova. There’d be plenty of Eastern European tennis players that originally came from very humble beginnings. I could have searched longer but didn’t feel it necessary. It was a silly comment.

Throughout its history, tennis has had a reputation for being an expensive sport. Only in the last few decades has the sport started to shed its country club image as a sport only for the rich. It’s still a sport that people with limited resources find difficult to play consistently, but it’s opening up a little.

I’d say it’s opening up quite a bit, particularly in Eastern Europe. Regardless, I think what you’re forgetting that they are vastly different sports and competitions and I don’t think you can claim it’s easier to dominate in tennis than the NBA so nonchalantly. The “superstars” in the NBA have plenty of off games in a season with so many games in the season. Being a team sport, these quite games can be offset by the rest of the team and a strong side will definitely help a superstar dominate.

In tennis, most competitions are knock outs so you play one bad game and that’s the end of it. It’s also an individual sport so there’s no-one to cover an off day (with the exception of doubles).

I read a review of The Man Shake which said that it tasted like semen?

I've only tried the Choc Mint flavour, but if all semen tastes as good as that...
