While we're on the subject this is my next concert

Its like a 90s version of the BDO with all the old Aussie bands.

Best two for mine Sepultura (never seen them yet) and Behemoth. Might be driving home by the time Limp Biscuit and Devo play, I mean seriously those headline bands are pretty crap. Fall Out Boy, lol

Corey Taylor (Slipknot drummer) is apparently an acoustic set.

I already said the cost was not the issue. The issue really is that we have a grid and these SMRs will have to be plugged in to the existing grid. So good luck with that.

Moving forward, the cost per kwh is huge compared with renewables, so I hope that nuclear is supplementary to renewables otherwise there will be a riot over energy costs. Also you can’t switch these babies on and off like diesel generator, so they need to be running 24/7.

Ziggy already did a business case for SMR and they don’t stack up in a country that is blessed with an environment conducive to renewable energy.
The US is looking at SMR's, who have a very similar environmental situation to us that is conducive to renewables (they're likely better for wind, we're better for solar, but it equals out in the end). If they're considering it, why shouldn't we?

There is a cost though to transition to renewables, which would be in excess of at least $500 billion according to the scientists

Worldwide the cost is expected to be $62 trillion

Let's all be honest, none of this cost is likely to impact the affects of global warming whilst China, India and much of ASEAN (who will be the 4th largest economy in the world within 15 years) don't really care.

Wow Boom Crash Opera will be there to play Onion Skin. And their other great hits…
If you're there, ask that Eskimo Joe merkin what that song is about "I don't understand the point of fingers". Cos I don't understand the point of his song.

About a year ago I went to this festival full of 90s bands. I thought it would be fun. It turned out very depressing. All the late 30s to late 40s yr olds sort of trying to relive their youth but unable to. Most just where standing around and seemed more like they wish they where home relaxing. Whilst 50% of the crowd looked like they took far to many drugs or hadn't stopped and time caught up with them. Overall the vibe was just off. No energy. And bar Shihad most bands just weren't tidy anymore. It felt like they just hadn't practised and played with the energy of a 50yld as well. merkin of a night overall.

Only live music I'd go to is a chilled folk band that's not to loud and I can sit down and relax with a wine and a cheese platter.

I always felt Dancing in the rain would be a great song for our football side to run out too.
I mean Parra... Parra... It's a little f**king boring now.

Shihad are the best band I have ever seen LIVE. They put so much god dam energy into every show. I've seen them about 8 times. They leave nothing out there. Brilliant band but live they go up a level.
Oasis was probably the tidiest band I seen. Didn't miss a beat.
