Yeah I watched the first 2 parts..
considering the fact he should never have been sent off to begin with.
I found his treatment after the World cup game against Argentina absolutely disgusting....how f**ked in the head are english football fans?
Yeah I remember him copping plenty in the immediate aftermath, but back then, with pay TV and the internet in its infancy, I had no idea how long his awful treatment by the English "fans" went on for and the depths of that hatred....

what he did was 100% yellow card worthy but to send him off after just being fouled was mind bongling.

I remember watching it live and just staring at the screen in disbelief.

then to be thrown under a train by Glen Hoddle to divert attention away to his poor coaching performance...absolute merkin act at its finest.

How do people describe something once it's broken?
Miks oven stopped working and he said it was rat shit. My Dad generaly says it's f**kd. While I prefer to say it's rooted.
Very curious what terms other forumites use in these situations.

I’d say it’s shit itself.

Sarah lees crumbled
A largish lady used to work for me. She sadly had a thyroid issue, which led to her unfortunate weight problem.

She followed all her doctors advice but to no avail. I’m sure that the frozen Sara Lee chocolate cake in the top drawer of her desk that she ate with a fork every other day, had nothing to do with it.

There once was a gal named Marlene,
Whose chocolate cake love was obscene.
With each bite, her heart cried,
For the pain she'd hide inside,
But she found happiness in every sweet dream.

Did she make the Newcastle NRLW team??

Of course, I forgot you were making art.
The correct response should have been.

So what happened to Marlene ?

Marlene, once full of life and zest,
In the chocolate cake, she found her best.
But her laughter began to fade,
As the weight on her heart weighed,
Downed her spirit and put her to the test.

With each bite, she tasted sorrow's sting,
As her mental health began to swing.
The sweetness couldn't fill the void,
In her mind, her thoughts, she'd avoid,
And tears of sadness, they'd gently bring.

The darkness took its toll, her smile grew thin,
Isolation and despair were closing in.
One day, she knew she couldn't bear,
The burden she'd silently wear,
So she sought help, a new chapter to begin.

Marlene's journey to recovery was a fight,
In a private hospital bed, she spent many a night.
Therapists and mates, they lent their hand,
Guiding her back to solid land,
And slowly, her world began to brighten with light.

Through therapy, support, and self-care,
Marlene found strength to repair.
Her mental health, once frail and torn,
Began to heal and be reborn,
A testament to the human spirit's repair.
As the days passed, Marlene learned to cope,
With the challenges, she discovered hope.
Her love for chocolate cake remained,
But no longer was she constrained,
By the darkness that once made her mope.

In recovery, she found her strength anew,
With a heart that once felt broken, now true.
Marlene's story is a beacon of light,
Showing that even in the darkest night,
There's a path to a brighter, healthier you.
