Is it me or are the years just speeding by? f**k it's scary. My forties seem to have gone in fast forward. I remember when I took an offer to go to Perth for work. Lived there for just over a year. Pretty sure I posted it here. That was 10 years ago!!!

I was talking about this with friends over the weekend. One of my mates who I have known since I was 15 was reminiscing about all the shit we have done together. I sat there with his family and Mine,'having a great time before the derby at the rowing club in Abbotsford. I took it all in, paused and just told him how much I loved him.

My youngest son freaking loves that movie! He was stoked on Saturday morning when he found out it was going to be on free to air on Saturday evening.... I told him, why don't you just stream it on kodi and watch it whenever you like? Cue WIlly Wonka and the Chocolate Factory on repeat at my house for about 22 of the last 50 hours!!!

Serious question to anyone who thinks we should limit life expectancy due to the rising costs of an ageing population:

What is the magic age we should be aiming for? Is it the current life expectancy? Perhaps a little bit more? Or should we be reducing it and aspiring to the current life expectancy of many of our minority populations (eg. The indigenous community)?

And what do you propose we do with people once they reach that age?
