Am thinking of doing that trip later this year myself

It' a story about muslim boys being excused for shaking hands with girls or something.

It's really not a story and would not be published if the boys were not muslim.

I had a client who was (still is) a Rabbi. He came to my office and I stupidly offered my hand to his wife. He politely told me that she is not permitted to shake hands with other men. Sorry. All good we moved on.

I noted that she also had a wig as men were not permitted to see her hair.

It's not a biggie if a culture has mini rules about shit like that, Move on.

As long as you aren't offended next time someone punches a woman thats ok, because you know in that persons own culture it is acceptable to be violent towards women.

You were an advocate for that women's march weren't you?

You can't pick and choose when to be outraged over the exact same thing.

I've gone to and from KI from both Launceston and Melbourne. Have used REX from Melbourne and Sharp from Launceston.

They aren't the most comfortable of flights but fortunately they aren't long.

WTF I am lost. I said that it's OK that I can't shake your wife's hand, however somehow that mutated itself into me condoning domestic violence.
