Amazing stories of bravery, spirit and human achievement have emerged from the London Bridge / Borough Market incident.

Like this merkin, who was running for his life yet determined not to spill a drop.

Clearly an athlete, his left arm balances his stride and provides stability at Maximal Oxygen Uptake (VO2Max).

But on the flipside he has something with which to defend himself. If anyone tries to stab him he can just neck the pint and glass the mongrel....

they are also trying to drive a wedge between moderate muslims and other religions trying to win them over
the ironic thing is every attack brings out racist rednecks calling every muslim a terrorist and doing their work for them

Sounds like the 'racist rednecks' and 'Ray Hadley Listeners' versus the smug, politically correct pseudo-intellectuals.

Really ? In his country he still uses the underhanded tactics of the KGB. Do you really want our police to act in such a free-for-all corrupt manner ? A massive can of worms there. Be careful what you wish for.

Meanwhile our hero Putin is bombing Assad opponents rather than ISIS.

Why ? Because ..

Vladimir Putin is a great leader because he works in the interests of his people. That is his number one priority. He doesn't pander to the bed-wetters like we do here. And police having more power does not mean they are corrupt.

Anyway, we could go on for weeks and we will not get common ground. However, I recently read a theory from a German analyst about this whole situation and I agree with him. He said that it doesn't matter whether it is a Democratic, Socialist, Communist or a morphed version of a society. He said that it was all about fear. The public is not in fear anymore. He didn't mean all out fear of going missing or being killed like under the Hussein and Gaddafi regimes but fear of serious repercussions. I appreciate that most of these idiots take their own lives and that is the ultimate sacrifice but I'm talking about laws which penalise the complete and immediate family of these violent imbeciles.

I read that the Manchester bomber left a message to his mother and said that he was sorry. I wonder if it would work if a law was passed that all immediate families of convicted terrorists regardless of their immigration status were expelled from the country if a member of their family committed a terrorist act? I wonder if they would have second thoughts if they knew that the family they left behind would suffer greatly by being deported back to the country they fled from. I appreciate that such a law would never pass here but drastic thinking like this is better than going out all out and annihilating them and potentially starting a third world war.

I wasn't in London over Christmas. Was at a pub one night and someone broke a glass on the floor.
I went straight up to the barman and told him about it. He said "Thanks" and kept going on with whatever he was doing.
The glass stayed there - some people walked around it, some just walked right over it. When I left at the end of the night the glass was still f**king there!

English people asked me what was the thing that surprised me most about England. I tell them "You guys just don't give a shit about broken glass on the ground."

Putin and his cronies may not be corrupt (for financial gain) but they are certainly morally corrupt. Sorry but when those in charge of prosecuting the law cut corners themselves, then what sort of a free-for-all society to do you have ?

We spend so much resources in our country making sure politicians public servants and the law stay on the the right track. Ridiculous to suggest that you want to condone underworld behavior to combat crime. You'll end up with 3rd world graft and corruption and drag us back 100 years.

Your idea of deporting families linked to terrorists is an idea of Pauline Hanson last year.

http://www.news.com.au/national/pol...e/news-story/48d5080fa9511a3bacdbb7ab0e98465e

Considering that most of the perpetrators are born in the country that they make these attacks, I cant see it working. Also cant see the High Court theoretically allowing the deportation of citizens of perhaps 20 or 30 years because one of their children was brain washed by criminals.

I reckon the first step towards the solution is making extremist views which incite violence to be treated like we do peodophilia. Meaning that the grooming of people plus using a carriage service would be punishable by jail time. That may force plenty to the dark web, but it may eliminate the chance of our children getting access to hate preaching as they can so easily now.

Watching the ABC this morning, it seems that the incident overnight in Melbourne involved a merkin who was jailed after plotting to attack Hollsworthyarmy base. They say that he was freed but was then out on bail for something else.

Like the Man Monis merkin who was also out on bail, these merkins are prime candidates to be rounded up and kicked out.

I'm all about an individual's rights, but FMD there has to be line in the sand.

It's ridiculous these f**kwitts are out on the street. And why was the media coverage of the incident so minimal yesterday?

The West created ISIS. Check Operation Timber Sycamore and check Operation Zero Footprint.

It serves two purposes - Firstly, destabilising the Middle East (even further) allowing the establishment of ratlines (human trafficking, organ harvesting) for personal profit and an oil pipeline through Syria that can feed Europe. Secondly, a mass migration into Europe that tears the fabric of the continent apart, rendering the population ineffective as an opposition to social control and allowing the further installation of a militarised police state.

Deep State 101, folks. You've all been hoodwinked. Don't forget that Carol Rosen was talking about "terrorists" being the next set up as a manufactured enemy in, what, the mid-70s?

If they're not out on the streets then they can't commit the crimes, can they? ;)

In the US, Alpha Jalloh was arrested for running and international car jacking ring (international because some were then shipped off to Pakistan). All of a sudden he is out of jail. You'll find out soon that he was behind the assassination of Seth Rich for the DNC.

I read it twice but all I saw was blah blah. Tell me in plain 10 year old English what your solution is again ?

I don't think HJ intended to propose a solution... he was simply providing a view of the background for context.

Yes I was probably a bit abrupt. Sorry @Hollywood Jesus . Maybe I need another coffee.

On a side note it seems that the Trump has followed through with his "middle east is the middle easts problem". Saudia Arabia on the back of $110B US arms deal have severed ties with Qatar. Interesting times.
