I'm not sure that is Paleo, which encourages high fat intake as well. It is just a diet reducing your kilojule intake by reducing carbs.

No the CSIRO have taken a more liberal take to the NO carb concept and gone with low glycemic index diet.

It's all based on the same science however.

Sydney Uni have invested in this theory as well. Bottom line is that it's all about foods that cause a lower and slower rise in blood glucose.

NO carb diets like Timmy's trigger ketosis, which is what runners experience when "hitting the wall" in a marathon. It's when you run out of glucose and you switch over to converting fat to energy.

Low GI diets are fine. They include complex carbs. It's the no carb diets that are rubbish.

You better tell that to Novak Djokovic.

the Australian Open champion no longer has pizza, pasta or bread on his plate, not even when he spends a week in Italy.
Though Djokovic has lost some weight, he has not lost any power in his racket-arm – in fact, there is more pop on his groundstrokes now than ever before.
And his movement around the court has improved. Djokovic should have been flagging in Rome after his three-hour semi-final against Murray, but less than 24 hours later he beat Nadal in straight sets.

Merkins, Paypal have emailed me saying that my account has been limited. To change the status I need to send them a copy of my passport and council rates to confirm my identity.

This is a legit paypal request (ie not from a phishing site).

Has anyone else been asked to provide ID etc ? I am reluctant to say the least.

Log on to your paypal account directly (i.e. not through any link included in an email), and send em a query.

I wouldn't bother Baz, since when do Paypal ask for people's passports ?

Its spam.

When you get the IP of the email source, run it through here and it will tell you if there are any spam emails originating form that IP address

http://www.stopforumspam.com/

We've been getting them for years now
