Why can't we just have a binding referendum on the topic or as HJ said an extra 2 boxes during the next election. Can someone explain to me why this can't be done?

Surely Phantom, ash, Gronk and the other rainbow warriors can wait another 2 years?

I didn't realise it was aimed at me. What makes me a "rainbow warrior"? Is it that I actually give a shit about my mates? You have ZERO idea the impact that treating same sex couples like second rate citizens has on them as people....what a patently ridiculous term.

Why should people be forced to wait any longer for a basic right that everyone else has?

F*ck me I'm over this same sex marriage shit. All politicians are doing is delaying the inevitable, it's going to happen so just get it done. Personally I'm happy for them to get married. I'm catholic but wouldn't care if the church allowed them to get married in the church. However if the church won't allow it I'm fine with that too but gay people deserve the same legal rights as everyone else. There are far more important issues that should be getting this type of attention.

I had a haircut an beard trim today at one of these new fancy "looks like an old timey barber shop" type of barber shop. Not impressed to be honest.

Didn't really cut my hair the way I wanted them too, didn't trim my beard like I wanted them to, and charged me way too much for the displeasure.

Needless to say I won't be going back there.

Oh not only that, they used some tea-tree oil beard oil, now my beard smells like tea tree oil, it's seriously hindering my ability to pump today.

You assume the 'typical' anti-BLM merkin is privileged. That's because you've never met anyone who wasn't privileged, but you think you know what they look like due to left wing media.

Poor people behave like that because that is how life has taught them to behave. Unlike the middle class they know the difference between speech and violence. Also unlike the middle class they resent anyone privileged enough to display their victimhood as a badge of pride. For genuine poor people, hiding your wounds is a survival mechanism.

No I don't think it's a bad thing. He can't help it. Like I can't help being heterosexual. I'm just intrigued that he hasn't returned since I asked him. Is he that offended?

Ash I believe in God but not everything in the Old Testament in particular. I don't accept Adam and Eve. That's just a story trying to highlight temptation. Not a story explaining the beginning of mankind.

However I believe that Christ performed miracles, rose from the dead and changed the world. I do a quick prayer to him daily. It works for me. I'm no preacher, am far from perfect, have obvious prejudices and hate the Bulldogs but deep down I'm a nice person. However in this instance I'm voting, no. When however it gets in, it won't be the end of the world for me. I won't agree with it but I'll accept it. I just want the will of the people to decide.

The thing I don't like is that you and I have no right what so ever to tell gay people what they can and can't do. That's the part I don't like about it, the law never should have been there in the first place is my point.
