Gun laws in the states are ridiculous but to be fair, how is that a similar analogy?

Cancer can be treatable and the person is still alive so medicine may help that person

The LV massacre has already happened and people are already dead and gun laws won’t change that.

Gun laws need to change but I can see how debate when people are still dying in the hospitals from the massacre will only cause further anger

No not a perfect analogy, however the point is still valid.

As many have said before me, if there was a fire in a Vegas casino which killed 58 and injured 500, they certainly would be talking about fire regulations. If the shooter was a muslim, they certainly would be talking about flight bans and other things that focus on "extremists".

Yet when a white guy shoots up a mosque or negro church or Vegas shindig, now is not the time to talk about gun reform.

Meanwhile on the back of repealing the Obama executive order to make it harder for those with mental illness to buy guns, congress have before them this week an NRA proposal to allow citizens to acquire gun silencers. FFS.

Plenty of people refuse to discuss immigration after a jihadist incident. Because you're all f**king merkins.

You can't legislate against an evil genius. You can only be prepared to protect yourself.

Fake analogy!

Talking medicine after some merkin gets cancer is fine. Talking prevention would be kick in the teeth though. Screaming I TOLD YOU SO! because he refused to wear a hat would be a merkin act.
I had a funny post ready about gun laws bringing people back to life, and zombies and the need to have guns to fight the zombies. But it's probably a bit too soon. Everyone could probably just put it together themselves at this point
