As the democratically elected representative, should not Tony Abbott take instruction from his constituents and vote in favour of the SSM bill in the lower house ?

And should the predominantly Labor electorates in Western Sydney, including senior shadow ministers Chris Bowen, Tony Burke and Jason Clare all vote against the bill in the lower house?
