I used to think that I like it but I’ve been to the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney for the past
2 weeks. It shits me. Rude people, overpriced everything and way too many tourists.

The Sutherland Shire for quality of life shits on it. Cleaner waterways, nicer people. Almost identical to the Northern Beaches in feel.

To make quality beer you need to do all grain brewing.

I wouldn't feed the shit from a tin to my dog.

Yeah but you're a beer snob. I can quite happily drink VB. And if I can make it, or better, with f**k all effort then great. All grain sounds like work.

Vb is fine. I cant get a normal beer arpund here. Its all craft

Most home brew from a tin that I have tried isn't even as good as VB. Its just shit and a waste of time. The stuff that I made was f**ken horrendous.

I started doing partial grain and the improvements were amazing.

I’m happy here in the Sutherland Shire mate. I’ve never had a problem since I moved here in ‘95.

Yeah. To brew something decent takes a lot of time and effort. Most people can't be arsed. I know I can't.

Was that before the Thomas Coopers tins came out though? And light dry malt?

Cheaper, easier, keeps the beer fresher.

The canning process is a lot different to the old 'Silver Bullet' and "Tooheys 2.2" days.
