Why the f**k do they hold the ABB at Merryweather every year ? Good boardriders club but the surf really is shit. There were events yesterday where some competitors never caught a wave even with tons of swell.

Talk about moving it to DBar next year which would be a great idea imo

So a quick story from another forum that I frequent. People whinge about the mods on here but the merkins on this other forum are out of control.

Its a golf forum and a guy posted about how he was annoyed that a certain fairway wood didn't come in 16.5 degrees. Everyone kept saying "just buy an 18 degree wood and use the loft sleeve to adjust it". He was getting the shits and said "It changes the lie and the face angle etc".

I jokingly said "Have you tried stapling two hybrids together" and then got a warning because it was a "purposeless inflammatory post". FFS. Glad thats not a rule on here!

Anyway, the point of my boring story is that those golf nerds can eat a bag of dicks.

I don't think cynical derision is part of golf culture the way it is in rugby league.

I was on a shaving forum where we would discuss blades and razors. I was Dr Shave. Mainly Americans. But if things got slightly hostile the thread was locked. When I say hostile I am not meaning words like get f**ked or motherf**ker either.
Anyhows I only spend 4 weeks on it and was banned

I bought a Ziggy BBQ today. Excellent condition. Brand new it would of set me back $700. He wanted $350 but I screwed him down to $270. Put on a story that's all I had and even scraped the last $20 in coins.
Atleast this Backpacker felt like he was doing a good deed helping me out.

Perfect for my courtyard I have renovated.
