Not knowing much about Goodes or this thing in general, the vague sense I do get from it all is it is, at least partially, another example of the left screaming "BIGOTRY!" and then expecting everyone to shut up and be guilted into accepting the moral superiority they are trying to enforce on society.
He handled it poorly imo.
If she committed an illegal act she deserves a right to be heard, this prima donna made himself judge and jury which is totally wrong imo. He had no legal right to eject imo.
As mush as I do not like the guy, I also dont support the booing. Unsportsmanlike imo, and I've never booed an athlete in my life, I just dont get that bit.
Probably, but I've never booed anyone
Not me. I've booed plenty. Players not having a solid go, QLDers, Pommies, Kiwis, Saffas (does this make me racist?) , players I don't like, cheats, the list goes on. All part of the fun of sport. There are good guys and bad guys and fans decide which are which.
You're assuming that all fans think like you. Of course if they did, then their boos would be based on merkin value rather than race like your good self.
BUT you don't know what they say and why they say it cos your not at the fence. So why assume that he's jumping to conclusions and being a cry baby ? Why can't you take what he says at face value and run with it ? What stops you believing him and makes you dismiss this as a storm in a teacup and him a big sook ?
You must be the only parra fan to not have booed Jamie Lyon or the Storm cheats.
I'd say I generally don't boo too much ... but fmd I was happy to give it to those cheating storm pricks that game at pirtek in 2010

I don't boo.
I yell obscenities. It's much more fun.
So, we can all yell obscenities but we can't boo. I like it.
You can boo if you like.
I just prefer to yell something like "What the f**k are you doing you stupid f**king ref!" as opposed to "Boooooooo."
I prefer to do an interpretive dance to express my dissatisfaction at player/refs.
The haka?
