Nah the call was right. Eels got super lucky with injuries and Turpin's try should've been given and Eels knocked on before Gutho scored.

Yeah you would have to think the Broncos would have gone on with it if they didn’t get the injuries that they did. The Eels definitely did start playing more direct which helped them a whole lot also.

Isiah Papalii’i was immense for the Eels, felt like he was a real handful to tackle every time he took a run - and it seemed like he had about a thousand runs lol

Yeah he was good. Of course Broncos missing their two props just killed them. With the new rules they were just too fatigued and could barely stand in that second half.

Yeah it was rough to watch. They could barely stand and were trying so hard to defend. I was proud of the mental effort and not even their fan.

NSW Cup have 18th Man now for HIA. No idea why NRL doesn't. I am all for fatigue but there has to be limits

Yeah at that point they should be allowed an 18th man. It's pretty crazy we can have a game decided like that.

Eels were probably a little fortunate given the Broncos were down on troops but in round 1 a win is the most important thing even if performance isn’t the best.

Yeah you can tell the weather is quickly zapping all the energy from both teams, hard conditions for a round one game that’s for sure.
