#freeburton?
Judging by Matt's body language after Thursdays game, indicates that he may not want to go to the dogs.
#freeburton?
Bet he wishes he could tooI wish he could backflip .
I agree. I can't see Barrett lasting his contract.Trent would be so regretting giving up his cushy assistants coach job for the hell he has now
Ya think?Judging by Matt's body language after Thursdays game, indicates that he may not want to go to the dogs.
I hope Matt can renege? I honestly believe he realizes his error.Ya think?
really hope so.I hope Matt can renege? I honestly believe he releases his error.
Sharkies very unlucky tonight. Eels are rubbish
And no win is three games. Burton is obliged to fulfill his contract, unless the Bulldogs will grant him a re-lease, which will not happen. Now we know why the Bulldogs wanted Burton Asap. The longer this shit goes on he will change his mind
I thought Barrett was suppose to solve their attacking woes?
No points in 2 weeks, ouch.
Made no sense that he got all the credit for 2020.Now we know why the Bulldogs wanted Burton Asap. The longer this shit goes on he will change his mind

Getting rid of Maloney the handbrake was the biggest thingMade no sense that he got all the credit for 2020.
Api was the key to unlocking our attack, followed closely by Nathan being given ownership of the team and having a half he had a great combination with since being kids.
Barrett no doubt helped our players in areas of their game. But i always felt he was just lucky in his timing of arriving here. Ibe never gotten over his failure as our 20s coach. His time at Manly wasn't very good.. he had some genuine guns in his team that could win games regardless.
I think he's a great assistant coach who can help players improve areas of their game. Or he would be if he wasn't so quick to take better opportunities anyway. If he wanted back though I wouldn't take him. He cant jump at opportunities quick enough and he uses his in with us to ficus on our guys at new clubs. f**k him.
Or there's a clause which stipulates that if Barrett is sacked, and that will happen, he can back out. There is precedent with players like DCE and Steve Turner signing with the Titans and then backing out. But I don't see it happening here, he will go to the Doggies in 2022. He will be able to continue his development at the Panthers this year as this will not be his only appearance this year as he will pick up a few more during Origin, but you never know, he could be a regular part of the 17 within the next few months anyway, particularly if someone like May gets injured.

A clause? Well if there isn't one, the media will invent one.Or there's a which stipulates that if Barrett is sacked, and that will happen, he can back out.
